(http://storieswithoutwords.wordpress.com ) which invited writers and poets to put together story poetry and other writing about some amazing pictures Roka Walsh found, often from famouse photographers she persuaded to allow to use their work. I had a lot of funa nd made some good friends but in the end the effort and the stress of doing it became too much for Roka. The blog occasionally posts still.
Images often do inspire and these you have shared must surely tell stories as remarkable as the pics.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4677133322409652783.post-2026925364348979722011-04-27T04:53:45.001-11:002011-04-27T04:53:45.001-11:00These are stunnign pix I love teh one of teh eye a...These are stunnign pix I love teh one of teh eye and the alien seed...a love the way you can look at something and make it quite different...off to deviantART site for better peruse!Tattieweaslehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10723634612274763884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4677133322409652783.post-20236716646953581482011-04-27T01:59:40.721-11:002011-04-27T01:59:40.721-11:00How often has a picture or object triggered a stor...How often has a picture or object triggered a story? I used to do that all the time with the children. Pick up a piece of driftwood on the beach and then spin some story about Africa and it holding up a house and a pet pig rubbing against it and it was a pet pig because it only had 3 legs and that was why it leaned against the post to stop it falling over but it got so big with all the scraps, it being a pet, that the post broke under its weight and the family threw the wood into the sea. Look closely! I think you can even see one of the pig's bristles. Just here, look. They called it Henry, by the way, the pig, after the king. Pigs are always called after kings - unless they are in Beatrix Potter, when they're called Alexander, who wasn't a king but a Tsar.... cont'd p94

No wonder my poor children are confused.......Fenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02377814681496294457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4677133322409652783.post-46139529648070694592011-04-27T00:12:55.288-11:002011-04-27T00:12:55.288-11:00But really, it's best to go to the deviantART ...But really, it's best to go to the deviantART site - they don't reproduce so well here and I am not clever at fiddling with size.Exmoorjanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09230395732150659356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4677133322409652783.post-10443989191252374702011-04-27T00:12:13.357-11:002011-04-27T00:12:13.357-11:00Ah, glad you like them, Frankie. :) Somehow, I'...Ah, glad you like them, Frankie. :) Somehow, I'm not surprised...Exmoorjanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09230395732150659356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4677133322409652783.post-88540136864844702282011-04-26T23:08:32.695-11:002011-04-26T23:08:32.695-11:00Those are fantastic!
